Im thoroughly convinced that no one makes a quality lug nut that will not rust or chrome bust off.

Anyone have any leads on a quality lug nut? Stainless would be expensive but twice the quality.

I wouldn't use stainless. Too soft.

It is a common misconception that stainless is better. But alas the only stainless nuts I've found that are strong enough to do what I want ARP makes and the cost outweighs the want.

had the 13/16 ones on my truck from discount tire since 06 and other than the edges getting sharp, the chrome is no where near flaking. may be due to the fact we dont have rust issues here though

gorilla lug nuts are pretty good pieces. ive been buying some powdercoated black one and replacing them every other time i rotate tires. 30 bucks a set and they work but the coating comes off eventually.
