So i've decided that i want to go with Isspro gauges (EV1 or EV2 - still not sure on that) but i have a couple questions. Is a 1500 degree pyro enough for my truck (see signature) which pulls a 30 ft gooseneck trailer with skidsteer and how high should the boost gauge go? 30 or 40 lbs enough?

Thanks

P.S - Feel free to comment on the EV1 or EV2 gauges.

When I had my LBZ I went 60 psi and 1800 just in case plus if you ever upgrade your turbo you will be ok to keep the same guage

i just got the ev2s and i like them so far. with the 1500 and 40 psi gauge. im happy with them, and if your towing your not going to be wanting to go over 1500 or around 1500 for very long.

i say get a 60psi boost and a 2k pyro. they arent that much more. plus its always better to have some room to grow

30 ft gooseneck with a skidsteer? I would have a oil temp gauge in that rig too. EGT and a engine oil temp gauge will be your 2 most important added gauges if you have seen what I've seen. The oil cools (90% of its reason for being there) the moving parts inside. The gauge makes sure you don't break the oil down over time with temps most are not even aware of.

My personal opinion on the matter is a 1500 degree EGT gauge should be more than adequate. If your EGTs are going higher than that, you probably don't really want to know or care how high they are actually going. You really don't want them to get much more than 1300-1400 for any extended length of time anyway. For the boost gauge, that's pretty much a personal preference, but for a stock turbo, I prefer a lower boost gauge. Most of the ones I see are around 35 psi. I don't know anything about PPE gauges.

X2^^^

For towing 1500 will work fine, but you never know where you will end up. Why take the chance of having to buy another gauge if you start to bend the needle on the first one when playing. Bigger range seems like a money saver to me.
