Thinking about getting the turbonetics t4 pedistal. Having a 1.25" spacer plate made. Getting the 3.5" downpipe from PPE. Getting a tial 38mm wastegate. Getting the BD side block oil line kit and getting an s475 turbo. I know that I need some v band clamps and the intake has to be custom. Can you think of anything else that I would need to get it installed? Any help or tips are appreciated.
thanks
Nate

I would (and did) go with an ATS 4" down-pipe instead. I would guess it is cheaper and it comes with the v-band. Why would you need that tall of a spacer on the turbonetics pedistal? I'm pretty sure it's the same height as the ATS and Ricks which can both be used with little or no spacing. You would need a spacer for the oil drain if you have it up that high. I would recommend a 3" tubing style discharge on the turbo and a 3" DS boost tube like the banks - which you would have to cut and extend.

Ive read that to put an s400 turbo on you need a PPE install kit with spacer. The PPE pedistal is 6.4" with spacer. The turbonetics is 5.2". It was also recomended by Guy to run that size spacer to help the wastegate clear the downpipe. I will probably just block off the wastegate port until I get dual fuelers and head studs. What is the 3" tubing style discharge you are talking about? I do plan on getting the Banks hotside boost tube.

I guess the Turbonetics is shorter than I thought. The RDL and ATS T4's are about 6.25 - so I guess you will only be slightly higher than mine. You can get an S400 with or without a race cover (5.5" inlet) and with either a band clamp style discharge where you have to buy an adapter and V-band clamp to clamp your silicon coupling to; or a straight 3" discharge that you can connect 3" tubing straight to. I would still run the ATS 4" down-pipe.

You think the race cover is worth the extra coin? Where did you buy your s475 from?

Dont forget you will need to do something about your oil drain from the turbo

I made my own 4" down pie from old exhaust peices just had to buy the V-band flange.

An S480 on a Supra made 94 more horsepower with a race cover over a standard cover. Flow testing showed 12% less flow out of the standard cover.

Yes, forced inductions

You have an S475? Check out the 18th story down: Bullseye Power takes a look inside a Forced induction's unit. Woof!!!

I am a dealer for and got my S475 from BullsEye Power.

How much are you putting out already? I have a nice gt4202r kit for sale.

That is a really good deal for the entire kit.

There are a few things you can do. You can cut up the stock one and weld extensions to it in both directions, but with it's limited flex you would need to get it very close. Mine uses flanges welded to the end of flexible stainless pipe:
