Forgot to latch my hood. This has never happened before to me I usually check to make sure. I was in a hurry and didn't check this one time. Hood flew up didn't hit the window but bent the corners of the hood. Do you guys think the hood is salvageable? Or is a new hood in order?

Yea I think with some time investment, and lots of patience you can get it lined up. Is that the only place it moved spacing? Or did the whole hood shift closer towards the windshield? Gap up front?

You would be better off pulling it,strapping it down to a secure/heavy bench And picture how it bent while working backwords if that makes sense. The hood bent at the front of the hinge so that's where it will have to have weight applyed downword while putting pressure up word from the front latch area.then you can put pressure downward at the high spot.Alot easyer to do it than explain it but you get the jist and it will straighten out.hope u get it!

My cousin got most of it out with a mallet a rag and a pry bar. It sits a little lower than the fenders. The out skin pulled over the inner a little. It shifted the hood towards the driver a tad and we got the hinge pryed back over. I was very surprised how easy it was to fix. It's not 100% perfect but it's damn close. I will snap a few after pictures when I have time.

Does it still latch?
Yes I does latch and unlatch like it used to.

I need to figure out how to get the back corners up to match the fenders. When the hood came up it pulled the hinge mounts down and pulled the back corners down. It would be difficult to hold the mounts on a table but I do see what you guys are saying.
