Pump rub with a 8.1

I know its not a diesel but how concerned should I be about pump rub? 2002 8.1 zf 6 speed 73xxx miles Thanks

Essentially everything 1999-2007 for pickups as well as many SUV's. In 2007.5 the tcase changed.
