Pump Rub Fix

Alright, so I'm doing the pump rub fix on a transfercase. It does have a hole in the housing.. Will JB weld be sufficient or do I need a new housing? Also, the little seating clip where the hole is is broken, does it need replaced with the new Merchant piece?

Find A welder close that can tig and get him to weld it . He needs magnesium filler and he should know the rest. Then just put in the merchant piece and call it fixed
