I have found a place that has both in the size im looking for . should I go with the new design incase I have a tire problem or use the old design, because I have heard they offer better traction?
thanks Craig

I have the S/T II Craig, i thought i was getting the S/T but they showed up at my door as S/T II .....and so far i love them. the only time i have been able to break them loose in a straight line is on wet pavement. granted, i only have a 70ish HP tow tune in but its a light truck (my 01) and stock suspension and i try hard :D they are the 285/60/17 and i have them at 45 psi for daily driving. i am going to put them on IronHyde when i take it up to Epping in a few weeks and i'll give a report

Eh, I havent been too impressed with the STs at the track so far. Just as buttery as the Michelins they replaced. I sure hope when the weather warms up they'll get better.

Have to admit they are very good in heavy rain on the freeway and for cornering, though.

what is the price range on these tire in like a 265/75/16 or something in that hight but wider.

i think they make a 275/70r16 but not shure , @ your power level i would stay with something in the 31-32" range as you know taller tire has more contact patch , and you got the power to push them .
Suprized your not going to a slick ? Unless these are for the street ?

Was thinking something for the street.I'm not making no power.with the new setup I can hardely break the tires loose.Only dynoed 613 with 39 psi of boost.I think my rims and tires kill me.The tiresweight 52lbs ea 285/75/16 Nitto terra grapplers and 16x8 Gunner 8s from Discount tire.Truck felt alot better with the 265/75/16 BFG KO's and the stock PYO's,I also think the 1055 takes away from the dyno low blowing the tires off on the street like I had with the 1057.
