Well I blew another Stock bellow on my drivers side uppipe. This is the second one in a year. No rubbing just cracking at the bottom bellow connection. My question is I know everyone runs headers or manifolds but I know of a few instances that after changing from stock manifolds and uppipes trucks have went slower. I'm wondering if the tow flows would do the same thing. I really want to upgrade but don't wanna loose at the strip so that's why I steering away from manifolds right now. Any thoughts? My mods are listed, the truck dynoed 650/1070 at the end of may.

38 boost 54 drive on the big tune at the track. I have hot lapped it a couple of times but 1/8 track. Thanks hondarider for the advice!

I just went with the tow flow uppipes but I installed them when the 4094 went on. Hard to say if they made a difference because the other parts went on at the same time but the fit and finish is great and I haven't had any issues with them. I was always under the impreesion the larger runners on manifolds could slow spool up but never heard the would hurt 1/4 mile times??

I personally think aftermarket uppipes manifolds even headers are a huge waste of money. Unless you have problems blowing factory bellows like in your case.

I picked mine up used. I'm not sure I would have bought them at full price. Not to say the truck doesn't benefit.

Are you running an aftermarket pedestal? If so alignment problems are common. That can cause premature failure of the bellows.

Customers have dynoed 20 HP on a stock LLY with just the Towflow's. I've also heard reports of huge benefits at the track.

I very seldom ever hear of anyone disatified. As a matter of fact this thread is the most non spectactular feedback I have gotten.

My feedback is not bad at all. I installed a bunch of parts all at the same time so I just cant tell where my gains were made. I was very happy with the fit, finish and overall quality. Also installed your egr delete tube at the same time. I went from 482 to 505hp by installing uppipes, egr delete tube, 4094vvt, and diamond eye downpipe but this was without retuning for the added air at that point

Hoping that with the new nozzles and Trent's tuning I should be close to 600hp

Rick I'm running a 4094 with a 72mm billet wheel from danville. So factory appearing. Could you pm a price? I would run your stickers for sponsorship if that is still available??? And I am not saying the don't work, your headers/manifolds are proven for sure!!! Thanks again everyone for all the comments.

I have a 4094 with the Danville billet wheel and they told me it was a 68mm. I thought the 72 was a cheetah?

I put on one of the first set of 2" uppies when Rick started with the larger diameter tube. They started out under an HTT 366/16/71, and are now being used as part of Trent's triple kit with the HTT as the high pressure charger. As a single the HTT spooled awesome, with the triples....well :woott:

When I did Rick's manifolds & up-pipes a year & a half ago I noticed a big difference from spool up to top end.
my truck would never light up the tires on a 30+ mph roll before but after installing them I could well into 40mph

I never saw that when I bought mine. O well, the 68 should still flow plenty to meet my hp goals. And if I decided to play harded they can upgrade my current setup

The bellows are much nicer quality than factory bellows. I've used his bellows in some of my custom piping. We stretched a stocker until it looked like a shock boot.:roflmao: Rick's bellows worked great.

Fit/finish, quaility, etc couldnt be better, but on my max effort stock turbo/fuel truck i think i was already maxed out. Drive pressure might of went down but i woulnt know(no gauge). I have your CAC tube, downpipe, and up-pipes.
Couldnt be happier with ur products, actually putting a set of castflows and ur pedestal on our 2.6 truck!

Rick i don't think anyone is disputing the Quality of your product at all! The debate i see is whether or not the gains they will receive are worth the money spent on the parts. For a stockish street truck there is no real need for headers and 2'' up pipes. On a aftermarket turbo street/strip truck yes:thumb: Yes you will see improvements on a bone stock truck but is it worth the money??? That up to the customer

Rick makes good products. If anyone is worried that much about cost they probably shouldn't own a diesel then. Everything cost about four times what a Gasser cost.
