So I could prolly find the answers to my problems with some research. However I figured I would post this while I'm looking. I haven't reflashed in a few months and am lost to why I can't get anything to load up. I'm in v7.5 full flashing from dsp5 to single tune and it says interface not detected. On yeah I get off work in an hour and live 40 miles away so I really screwed myself on this one  any help would be appreciated.

I think you can use either 7.5 or 8 to full flash a LLY. I have been using 7.5 on my LB7.

Did you check the obvious stuff, like the cigarette lighter fuse? If you only connect the V2 to the diagnostic port, it should power on.

I know when mine does this, ots because i had the v2 plugged into the truck first, then the computer. If i leave it plugged into the computer and unplug the v2 from the truck, wait a sec for it to reboot to the computer and plug it back in, she works just fine

EFILive can be picky sometimes. My truck doesn't seem to care what I do when flashing. I can connect either end first, I can leave the radio on (turns itself off at the start of the flash, lol), whatever, and all is well. However, I've tuned one that was super picky, and we had to pull the radio fuse before it would work. Not sure what the difference is.

Now that you've figured out what your truck likes, you should be good to go in the future. I suspect that the battery charger may not be necessary next time. Glad it worked!
