My wife’s suburban has some sort of electrical gremlin. For the past 8 weeks or so the battery just dies and needs to be recharged quite a bit just to start. This is not a problem of it sitting for a long time. It can be perfectly fine and after being parked for 6 hours it will be completely dead.
The first thing I did was hook the battery to the charger overnight to make sure it had a good charge. That worked for a couple of weeks. (Went to oriley, autozone, and Napa to test the battery, alternator etc) Then it happen a few more times so I just pulled the battery and bought a new one. (Went to oriley, autozone, and Napa to test the battery, alternator etc) This worked for another few weeks but then on Thursday of last week it died when she was at work so I said screw it and just called onstar to tow the car to a dealer. The dealer kept the car for a few days and said they could not find any thing wrong after charging the battery. They did not even charge me but I am sure in a few weeks the battery will just go out again.
Does anyone have any advice??
Any will help
Thanks in advance!
