Quick question. About to order a pro fab y bridge and 3 inch boost tube. Im doing a 475 on my lbz. Trying to figure out what tube to order. On his site is says to use the over the alternator for twins and big singles. But looking at the design it seems like over the alternater would make it tough to fit a 5 inch intake through there. Also how do you clock the alternator? I called there earlier and was talking to the wrong person. Any advice?

I used the profab y pipe and over the alternator boost tube on my MPI 366/480 twinned LMM, I had to clock the alternator but IIRC all I had to do was split the alternator and grind a tab or two off the case to clock it.

Who's s400 install are you going to use? The reason I say this is most kits come with a y bridge that is made to fit around the 5" intake

We are using a profab Intake / boost tube and pedalstal. Got the over the alt tube. I'd say if your wanting to do a normal 5" intake to try the other style. There isn't room with this set up to go passenger side on the intake without a lot of bends.

Forgive the mess, was a picture of mock up.

That's a 45* 5-4 boot and a 4" Intake.

Mine runs tight against alternator. But wont work unless I run to the passenger side. I do not suggest the pro fab bridge and tube for a big single like there website says.
