if its rust free, Ill go with 15-17k, needs to be near mint though to get the 17k
even though I got mine for a steal 2 years ago at 8,700..it was stock and stock sucks.

I sold my '04 cc sb 4x4 with 55K and never abused for 20K. Built trans, Moonshine killer program, near new tires, and not a scratch on it.

that was a steal Mike
Actually with the market the way it is that is about going rate. Blue book, NADA values etc. are no longer relevant. You won't even have a phone call on a truck for sale these days unless your thousands below blue book. I think the OP might sneak $12K out of it if it is clean and loaded and that is only because of the trans build. Anything above that and he was just lucky to find the right buyer.

that may be the case but unless you are hurting that bad why sell it for a substantial loss? trucks around here are still selling well but thats California... I think Mike wanted to do something nice for someone :D

There are alot of people hurting right now and the deals can be found. The truck market varies greatly depending on your area. I know back east diesel trucks are still commanding a premium. Around my parts its hit or miss but you can find smoking deals. I stole my ridiculously clean 05 cause the guy was having financial issues and couldn't make his payments. I bought the truck for around $8K below book. I also sold my ragged out 03 with high miles and some issues for $17K which was about $5K above book. So far I have been on the winning end of all the deals but again that game is all about finding the right buyer or the right seller.

That's just it. you have to look and see what the avg price in your area is. Because somebody giving you an answer in Alabama would be way off.;)

$500 mo. for an 01' is real hard to justify with hi prices though imagine what a new truck is going to cost for that GMAC 72 mo. for the guy that signs up on that. I stop full out at $35k on anything because it's gone crazy. The market will shake down alot more as this gets even worse in the economy. I just keep the LBZ in the shop as much as I can and drive the Jeep diesel to make the truck last.
