In the modding of the y-bridge I removed a sensor mounted at the top-the dealer tells me its a pressure sensor-no duh-it says so on top of it-my questions-what is it for and do I have to put it back? it is mounted to the top section of the ybridge just as it bends to meet the intercooler pipe on a 2004 LB7. I don't know if its a factory boost sensor or a baro/map sensor?

Yes you have to put it back...why would you want to remove a sensor??

Its not a question of removal-its just looks so good with the powder coating I hate to mess with it:(-during the modding process and powder coating I forgot about it until it was to late-I guess i can build something in-line with the intercooler pipe to intake setup. Can anyone at least tell me what its for?

Shouldnt be a issue to move it further upstream:) or build a bigger badder intake and powdercoat it:D

FYI the 2001 has the sensor on the intake runner not the Y bridge. And your baro sensor should be on the driver side valve cover tucked under the big wire harness

Shouldn't be a problem to relocate it.
