Just got the programmer back from PPE and I tried to get the RPM back to stock. I took it up to 4500 and it scared me. How high can you turn it up to and not float the valves or throw a rod. I changed the settings when I up loaded it. I don't want to leave it like it is because I'll get stupid one day and over revv it and hurt something.

Must not fuel alot it don't smoke at all at any RPM. Have it on the 120 tune and don't seem right. The junky edge on level 5 or 125 horse had more power. I tried to get the rpms to normal with the ppe and it's not doing it and he screen it's back to normal rpm.

I believe that you can rev the DMax to 4500 or 4800 in neutral with any tuning. It just doesn't fuel hard enough to do it in gear. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It sounds normal to me.

I know on an LB7 it will only go to about 3400 even in neutral, but I know PPE is set-up to fuel all the way up to 4900. Even though it will fuel that high, it doesn't mean the trans will let it go that high before it shifts.

I would keep it under 4k if it was me... It won't make it's peak power up that high on a stock turbo anyway... I rev mine out pretty high to stay out of 5th/6th gear... but there really isn't any other reason to be up there...
