Ppe hand held tunner now no start any ideas this is on my dad's truck any help would be appreciated thanks

Make sure when it was loaded ALL accessories were off and or unhooked, any phone chargers etc. also shut the doors and set the park brake so the daytime lights don't come on.
Reset it back to stock and try loading again?

Get anything from the obd? Does anything happen?

Pull fuses. Might be lucky and be able to reflash. Otherwise it may be bricked.

There are two ways of returning to stock, the way through the tuning menu, or a way through the DTC area. Google it and there are tons of threads on what to do in this situation.

I had issues with EFI and an old canned tuner with my aftermarket stereo. Always pull the radio fuses if you have an aftermarket stereo.
