We are assembling my transmission and the ppe kit comes with no instructions. Heres a few things that we are having problems with.
1. There are two little orifices with a couple drill bits in a bag, and what little instructions we do have says nothing about these.
2. They did not send a new valve body gasket, torque converter seal, or pan gasket.
3. There are also some lil springs that we ahve no clue where they go.

Thanks in advance for the help. Maybe the suncoast kits have better instructions, anyone have a copy on there computer.

I don't know what comes with the PPE kit (although I'd assume it's similar to the SC kits), but there is no valve body gasket, you don't need to replace the torque converter seal unless there's something wrong with the one in the transmission, and you reuse the transmission pan gasket.

ok so the suncoast kit doesnt come with a new Tc seal either. It just that we always change it on our race transmissions.

With over 200K miles I would be installing a complete o/h kit, new torringtons, and pump and stator support bushings.

The orifices are for the c1/c2 rotating assembly and one of the drill bits will be too. The other drill bit will be for the vb but shouldve been packaged with the trim valves and their springs. Any other springs are probably for main line pressure bump and/or tcc cutback valve

I hope your build is getting better, thanks to the people that have chimed in. I'm gonna be building mine next week if my parts show up in time. Gonna be ordering a Gmax5 or maybe Mike L's kit tomorrow morning. Good luck with the rest of your build and let us know how it went.:thumb:

Ok the instruction helped a lot. Told me everything we needed. Thinks for all the input. Also I have to wait To finish the build bc I need a new seal and pan gasket. My pan gaske tore and the seal was leaking already.

What kit does Mike have out? Is it the new one that he was working on

Im not sure what it is all about. Just have talked to Mike a few times and from what i've heard from others, it is suppose to be bad a$$. I just want a kit that I never have to worry about in the future, even though with what mods I have already a Stage III would prolly be enough but I would just like the extra insurance. ;)
