So far, runs good. This is a "mid-level" charger for towing and performance.

Will be posting performance data on it as I get it. So far all I know is at 70mph, we have 3-5 PSI and 500-600 EGT.

Water-cooled, ball-bearing, high performance design.

Pat, Just was curious if, you considered the 42 and what was your reasoning for going with the 40. I'm sure you'll make some crazy numbers with the 40. Hope it kick's butt.. Standing by for updates...............

He's running the 40R to test it, so he know what it does.

He'll be testing other chargers as well when he is done.

I'm running the GT40R. I was the first customer from PPE. Its a great turbo. They did the mock-up of the pedistal on the truck. It made towing easier, and driving funner. I don't know if the PPE kit is wastegated, but our truck was the first customer's to test that turbo.

Should be no problem at 550rwhp, the question is whether it will be good at 650. This is why I need to test it. The compressor map on this is very wide, so daily driving should be excellent. But what it does at 35+ PSI is unknown as of yet.

Mine readily goes to 35+ psi and up with no problem. Its been up to 40psi+ with no problem and I take it to that an awful lot. It seems to work great at every speed.

Both the GT40 and the HTT have very good throttle response, with the edge going to the GT40. Both are very streetable.

I will be testing other versions of the GT40 for PPE in the near future to try and find the best configuration in that turbo size.
