Hi guys
Installed valve today, notice boost difference instantly. Question is.. Does the
edge cts accurately measure boost. Is this valve safe for towing?
Thanks

Assuming you are talking about the '04 LB7, if so then no the cts will not read accurately. The LB7's stock sensor will only read up to 22 psi, cts reads off the stock sensor. You'd either have to add the exspandable boost sensor for the cts or go with a mechanical gauge.

The lb7 set an overboost and defuel so I think it will be ok for towing on a stock truck.
Infact on a stock truck I am not sure you would notice much of a difference.
If you fill out a signature it would be easier to answer the question.

It will not read accurately, but the LB7 sensor can read higher than 22. I have seen 24-25 out of mine several times on logs. The ECM doesn't really work over 37 absolute(22 pounds of boost at sea level of 14.7 PSI is right at 37 absolute), but will go higher on logs.

Not sure why on logs you are capable of reading higher pressure out of the stock sensor on an LB7, I would think it would read the same as the cts. It logs right off the ECM, correct? From what I know with my LB7 and CTS I can only see 22 psi which from what I've read on here and several other DMax forums is common across the board for the LB7's and the CTS, unless they add the exspandable boost fitting from Edge. Though I would only know from what threads I read on here that the stock map is maxed out at 22 psi. I'm in the same boat as the OP, I have a PPE boost valve and would love to get an accurate boost reading, but I'm leaning towards mechanicals gauges for that.
