Just out of curiosity and boredom, I got to thinking about making the back glass on my truck one big power window like on a 4 Runner. Anyone ever done this? Seen it done? Just think it would be pretty awesome to be able to open the truck up some more on a nice day.
I realize this would involve some pretty major surgery to the back panel of the cab. Any idea where to get the channel the window would sit in? Anyone think transplanting the motor/arm assembly out of a 4 Runner would work?
Just brainstorming. Any helpful suggestions? Thanks!

I'd look into toyota tundra's set up. My bro's truck has a roll down back window and it is sick. Itd be great for road hunting!:thumb:

Seems like a pain, but would be nice! I enjoy the windows open on my truck rather than putting on the A/C. How about the Chevy Avelanch? I know nothing about them other than they are made by Chevy, but one would think that being made by the same company, it might make things easier to work with???

True, I didn't even think about that. Doesn't it fold down too. I remember something Wierd about it but I may be wrong.

A pop out or fold down window seems like more of a pain in the butt to me. I like the convenience of just pushing a button. :D Anyone got pictures of their truck without the back glass in it?
