Power folding mirrors

I currently have the big 06 style extendable tow mirrors on my truck. I am considering swapping them for a set of the smaller power folding mirrors. My question is, does anyone know what I would have to do to get the power folding function to work?

On a similar note, if anyone has a set of the standard mirrors in good shape with power, heat, turn signals, and power fold that is looking for a set of the tow mirrors, I may be looking to get rid of mine. They are power, heated, with turn signals and in excellent shape. Would be looking to outright sell or trade plus a little cash.

i'm not sure you would have to do anything.........i had the power folding ones on my other LBZ and i switched em to the big towing ones. there were no extra wires or plugs anywhere so maybe its all there already ?? not 100% sure tho

I have a friend with the power folding Josh pm what you're thinking for the trade.

Also It would probably take a reflash with a tech2 but I know the switches are different since the adjustment button also folds them in and out.

HEYYYYY!!! I've got power folding standard mirrors that are heated with turn signals. I'll trade you straight up........

They are on my '06 LBZ. You shouldn't have to do anything at all but swap them out if you already have the motor switch for power folding. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong there......but I would think that if your current mirrors are power folding, then the wires/plugs for another set would just "plug and play" right???

I took the big eared ones off with the turn and heat in the and install the standard with turn and all only thing that does not work is the folding in. I think you need to get the switch that works with them for it to work to fold in.

Henry the truck we swapped them on the power fold worked. It might have been set up for it though
