Finally tweaked my twin kit how I want it. Had some ugly bends like at the y-bridge with the boot. Shortened the bridge and went v-band. Also built a new 3.5" hot pipe.

Then spent a few hours yesterday sand blasting all the piping. And spent several hour trying to get the original powder coating off of the gt55 cover, but finally got all off.

Went to the powder coaters today and decided on peka-blue for the piping and to have polished covers. Should pop real nice together.

Now the aweful week long wait begins. I am beyond excited.

Waiting for powder coat is such a drag. I remember when I powder coated a suspension kit before the holidays and the guy said it wouldn't be done till after thanksgiving. Well I guess he didn't want to do it later and got it all done the same day. The parts were still warm when I put them in my truck. fastest turn around I've ever had haha

This shop I'm using is the #1 shop here in Salt Lake. They are slammed with work. Alot of my buddies know the owner and they say they're working all day every day to get parts done. I'd rather wait a week and know it's done right than have a smaller shop here get it done within a day and then have to question the quality.

That's the blue I wanted in my engine bay, but with a little more sparkled fleck. Unfortunately they did not get mine right. I did not, however, go direct with a powdercoater myself- lesson learned there. I am pretty excited to see that blue on your set-up, should look great. You are putting together a real nice rig there mike.

Also, funny I came across this thread as I was looking for your build thread to find out what size injectors you are running. So since I am replying here- I will just ask, if you don't mind.

Just snagged a fass 260 titanium as well as a new coolant tank. Still waiting on my powder so I'm probably going to have the tank powdered blue also.
