Poor mpg

so I get this question a lot and have not ever found a smoking gun as to hat cause MPG to drop off in duramaxs. I check things like injectors, boost, turbo condition, look for boost leaks, check MAF sensors, watch maf signals on scanner, air pressure in tires, wheels bearings rail pressure, looked for blowby and have never found a smoking gun.

So I would like to hear other suggestions as to what causes low MPG

Looked at a LB7 with near stock tires and hes getting 13 MOG and overthing seems to be in good shape.
