Plugged injector damage?

Most of the injector threads are four leaking injectors. What damage can a plugged injector cause? I've noticed a ticking sound under hard acceleration, but no smoking with one injector that is reading as high as +10.

What is the ice pick trick?
Injectors 2 and 7 have hard turns in the wiring before the plug. That causes the contacts inside to lose contact or have intermittent contact with the injectors sometimes. Ice picking them is where you literally shove an ice pick through the plastic connector in a certain spot to re-compress the connector contacts onto the injector contacts.

Oh, I've seen that before on some LLY's. But replaced the connector, and rerouted the harness to prevent it from happening again. Sometimes the wire is actually broken inside the insulation.

It's injector #5, but I will check the connector today before I order a new one. Is there risk of engine damage from driving with a plugged injector like there is with a leaking injector?
