I try to run it as low to the ground as possible so the air gets over it but the truck still gets hot after 45 minutes or so of highway. It's really only an issue if it's above freezing it seems. Work truck is an lly tho so maybe that's its cooling issue;)

I run mine low and never had an issue. The fan does kick on more often though. I would look into the hayden severe duty fan clutch if I had issues.

Actually, I wish mine would run warmer. I can't keep the windshield de-iced when plowing.

hmmm. i have hinikers flare 9.5 v-plows, and the 8611 blizzard power wings. the flares are fairly tall and still hasnt effected anything. On a bunch of different year trucks. i have never had an issue honestly. sometimes we have even put the winter cover on to help a few stay warm.

With a 7.5 fisher xv I barely hit 200 ect. Trans will get up there too but haven't hung a blade since the build.

Fwiw, the back of your plow says don't go over 45. I hate nanny warnings, but cruising fast hanging a heavy blade is asking for issues. That being said, should definitely not be puking coolant, especially in mid winter haha.

Cleaned your center stack at all recently? That's where I'd start
