ok so i just got my first diesel truck its an 05 sierra 2500hd 351000 miles when i turn it on theres a loud knocking noise coming from the right side of the engine i hooked up my scanner and got the codes p0090 fuel press regulator control circuit,u0105 lost comm with fuel injector control module. i have no idea were to start i heard it could be a fuel knock if someone could help it would be appreciated.

Look for wire chaffs by the alt bracket, where the wires run by the egr valve, at the two big wire bail connectors on the driver side of the engine. Good luck.
Possibly and injector stuck open? Had a buddy with an lb7 that it would knock so bad you would think the rod was gone and then it would clear rite up but it was done it 4 or 5 times to him.
