Ok picked up a mystery turbo today from one of my friends who bought it from a guy saying it was a 2.6 turbo. Well after installing it on his 2nd gen 5.9 dodge and finding out it doesn't spool till 2800 rpm he decided it couldn't possibly be a 2.6. So we had another friend measure it at a pull and sure enough it was a 2.8. The turbo has no tag and the only markings are a couple casting numbers on the covers and someone scratched a number into the compressor housing. I have a digital caliper and I'm gunna measure on it some tonight. What can I measure to get an idea on what it is?
