just built the suncoast kit for my 2009 allison 6 speed, did flywheel and input housing. drives fine for the most part jumps around between 5-6 when cruising on the hwy. BIG PROBLEM when going from D to R it delays an second then bangs like really hard into R. if I go from D then to N then to R it goes in smooth, if i go D to R every time it delays then slams into R. please help thanks

Not sure if it will help, but did you do a relearn with tech 2 or at least reset the taps with EFI?
The good news is that there is no common clutch pack applied between 6th and Rev.
The bad news is that Rev is C3 and C5, did you check clearances or just drop the SC kit in?

i put in in the first time and had same problem in R and it shifted funny, i called SC they made me new part for c3 pack to tighten my clearance and.... shifts better now still funny at hwy speeds, D to R delay 1 sec then bangs like crazy. i was guessing maybe the apply piston moved to far and maybe tore????? i'm out of ideas thanks for the help
i checked clearance but it was hard to get down there and measure exact, SC sent me a gap tool to try and help reach, I really felt like my clearance is good the second time I just wonder if i tore anything when it was way loose. maybe ecm or trans program funny, had duramax tuner send me tunes, I drove on the tunes for 2 months before rebuild and it worked fine no problems at all
