Please Help. 3 Groove or 4 Groove Pitman Arm

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD D/A 2x4. I need to replace the entire front end and I just want to make sure I get the right pitman arm. I know the 4x4's use a 3 Groove but I have no idea about the 2wd. Could someone here please clarify this for me?

Pull the nut off and look.You shouldn't need to pull the pitman are off to get a spline count.
