I just got a lbz from work to drives and I was looking under the hood and someone replaced the filter head and fuel lines. They replaced the rubber line with plastic all the way to the tank. WTF kind of bs is this surely this ain't kosher?

Does that truck stay off road?

Maybe it's what was laying around. I wonder how it will hold up to diesel.

Thanks for the tips about about running off road fuel I had no idea that isn't legal to drive on the road with it. :roflmao: Don't worry though this truck is only driven off road and in Mexico to boot.

Ok back on topic. Is this some new fuel line or did some hack do a real number on this thing? They also bypassed the fuel cooler so I'm guessing on the later.:roflmao: Truck runs pretty good considering its probably collapsing the fuel line. It has a BullyDog on it too.

Sounds like whoever did the installation didn't know what they were doing. So more than likely the hose isn't fuel rated either. I have a loop of clear line I use in diagnosis for these trucks. I have to replace it about once a year because it gets hard and brittle.

Thanks kind of what I though. We just had the CP3 replaced from my understanding. So not sure if they did this or someone else. I have a feeling it was them the lines are really clean still.

Would you need to flush the fuel system after the CP3 takes a dump? Thats my only guess why someone would replace the lines and bypass the fuel cooler.

We have Parker pushlok 5 min from you! Send them boys at your shop to us next time, screw that clear hose for fuel. I've used it for testing, but not permanent placement.

Lol I asked the owner about the work done on the truck and he told me "Oh ya you need to take the truck back to the shop so the new factory fuel lines can be put on". I guess these where just temporary until the new ones came in. Probably need to take it back again though its setting a Low fuel Pressure code if you run it WOT up over 80, but its a work truck not mine to hammer on.
