Planning on Removing Fuel Distribution Blocks

I am in the process of removing the fuel distribution block on top of the Y bridge. I am going to have two ports welded on for a balancing rail and then feed each one from the front and have the pressure sensor in the back of the driver side rail. The red tape was where we where going to have the ports welded but we are now moving them farther back. We may even balance off of the back ports and only have one port put in the rail for the rail pressure sensor.

Does anyone know where I can have some hard lines made up or flexible lines?

Well after a lot of digging it would cost me about $600 to do what I was planning. I don't need to remove that block that bad so back in it goes.

Has anyone removed the Rail Pressure Sensor and used a LMM on the passenger side rail? Did you put a plug where the one on the block is or did you just leave it there? If I can't find a plug I was going to have it welded up.

I've got a couple questions...
I thought using Teflon Tape was a no-no with petroleum products?
what fuel distribution blocks are you talking about? low pressure side right?
instead of buying flex lines why not just sleeve the soft lines with a SS braided sleeve?
holy chit, you're gonna weld on the fuel rail that withstands 26,000psi

I was only using the Teflon tape to show the from and too ports I wanted to run the fuel lines. On the LB7 there is a block on top of the Y bridge that distributes to each of the fuel rails that I wanted to eliminate. And yes you can weld on high pressure rails. There are a few common rail trucks my sponsor has built that have modified fuel rails that has new ports welded on with many passes drag racing and sled pulling on without an issue.

why would you want to move the sensor if your keeping the block in place

I did that but used a Bosch 2000 bar from Exergy. It was cheaper than a factory unit by a lot. I left the original in place instead of plugged it. I had to extend the harness to reach the on in the passenger rail and it has to be rescaled to read properly,
