I am in need of new tiers im wanting to drop the truck alittle (04 rclb) and wanted a 285 wide tire wanted to see how well they fit on stock pyo's particularly a 285-75-r16 but not sure if i can lower the truck on these, i dont mind triming fenders a bit but just looking for a size that fits good.

so if u got some pics lets see em! and what brand/model tire, size, and lift/drop amount.

I have seen some wide and thin tyres recently for the nissan cars, exactly I dont know the brand of the tyres but you can get them by searching on the web.:happy2:

hummm i dont think i wana go with 35's i was thinking about getting some 285-70r16 so i would keep the same higth tire but theres very few to chose from.
Toyo open country M/T's is about it so i was thinking about going with a 285-75r16 in Micky tompson ATZ's but worried about the extra highth in tire i want the truck to have a lower stance but with a wider meaty tire and not so much a street tire, the toyo's arnt bad but the Micky ATZ's is more of what im looking for

any sugestions?
edit- i can also get a nitto in a very similar tire as the toyo and same size

35's are huge, and i dont think you would be be able to lower it as much as you would like to, mine is about as low as you can go with the 315's and my cv's are flat.

get 285's are you in town?

lots of people put 285's on stock pyo's. Shouldn't as many rubbing problems as with a aftermarket wheel because of the more positive offset on the pyo. Mine has 285/75-16 but on an 8" wide wheel. At full lock, they'll rub just a little and thats with the bars dropped 3 turns.

dont know about the 285's but i run the 275/70/16's on PYO's with no problems and i run with my t-bars all the way down and dropped 3" in the back. I have no problems with rubbing. something to think about if you cant find what your looking for.
