Gonna be pulling the trans in the upcoming months before the race season starts...

And going to either just refresh my 1056 or have it restalled to a 1057...

Just kinda illiterate with TCs....is there a better match TC for a truck that will see VERY MINIMAL TO NO road use?

I was looking at that as well. Mike can you give me more of an insight as to why it would be better for my particular situation as opposed to the 1056 or 1057?

It multiplys more tq off the line and couples pretty good. The 1056 was tighten up a few years ago when Ron could not get the cores he needed to build the 1057. I tested the first 1058 in my LB7 and liked it.
I am a firm believer in tq multiplication of the line. It lets you control the launch better than a tighter converter. Hence the 1058.
