Phantom Limp Mode

I have ran tunes from a few different tuners, and lately when i flash a tune(partial or full flash doesn't make a difference) Sometimes the truck gets limited to like 20* timing and 1800pw... no codes, no noises, just no power... drive the truck around get on it power comes back to what was programmed in. Sometimes the truck needs to be shut off and restarted but i never know when the power will be there or it won't until i stage the truck? Battery's are original so im sure they are weak. Any ideas?

Not saying it's the same but it was the co pilot on mine. So ask yourself was it before or after your wired it in.

Have you tried a full flash with a tech II, then reprogram EFI Live over that

No it was before Henry it happened one time on a certain tune, then it never happened again now it is happening much more frequently

Was worth a guess. I think I have to replace my pedal it's acting up at different spots. Once had a reduced power.

no no there is no pause there is just no power... i'll post a log

Look for when i go 100% throttle low timing and low PW freakin weird.

Mine also does the exact same thing It hasn't done it since I put my motor back in maybe a ground or something lose I never have figured it out

No Ben had intermittent problems where his truck would be running fine then a quick defuel... mine seems to be completely different

My guess do the the mm3 value its stuck too is its in stage 1 limp but come and goes and stage 1 might not even pop a code , could be due to the EGR or VVT being gone , the mm3 value ( 55 ) matches what is usually in that table unless its been modified .

I've seen this before and fixed it for one of my customers. I don't remember what it was. Call me Nick.
