Does anybody know what need to be done to permanently disable regulated voltage control on the 05 and up gm gasser

I know headlights shut it off and supposedly tow haul does but it doesn't for me for some reason

I really think that's the only way. There's a possibility that if you induce a charging system code it may default the alternator to the max regulated voltage output. However it will more than likely say "Service Charging System" on the dash. Why do you want to disable it?

I did a quick look to see if there were any sort of 'hacks' you could do to trick the system. Anytime there is a failure it'll default to 13.8volts however looks like regardless it will set the light on the cluster.
