I switched my tranny over to a 4L80e and needed a tune for the swap. Got to looking and decided on Pat G for the tuning. He makes cams and also does the tuning for them. I called him and gave him my specs. Told him my truck was going to be in the shop for a long time(months) and told him no rush on the tune. Months passed and I called him, but he was busy... I called and sent him another email and he called back soon afterwards. He was apologetic and said it will be sent soon, I said no biggy. Next you know I have an email with a tune and he said don't worry about paying because of the time lapse.
I tried telling him that his big racer account were more important than my just once in a great moon weekend hobby. He said nope and didn't email me his Paypal account...truly think this guy was so busy, he might have gotten me mixed up with someone else... Well about four months later-this week- I was finally able to get the tune to load up in the truck. I also installed a triple disk Circle D converter with the tranny swap. Truck runs crazy smooth with Pat G's tune!!!!
Now gotta figure out how to pay this guy, because his work is exactly like what I hear on the street- top notch.
