Have a guy that has these stainless woven mesh expansion joints in his up pipes and one or both are leaking.
Can they be repaired or patched? I'm guessing not but figured I'd ask anyways.
Am I correct in thinking that these things are basicly junk and simply don't work for very long... at least not for this appilcation??
What IS a good alternative for these expansion joints?? Stock style bellows? I don't know if those are smooth on the inside or not but even if they aren't and that inhibits flow a tad, as long as it flows instead of blows, its worth it IMO. No?
