part number check

I dropped in at my Allison dealership and grabbed some filters and fluid. I run the OEM pan in my LMM and they sold me the internal filter # 29537965. I'm online now double-checking and this is shown on many sites to be the right part number, but then I found one store showing:

2001-2005 Part# 29537965
2006-2012 Part# 29542833 ------ Attention this is the new part # for all 6 speed Allison transmissions with standard sump pan.

Do I need to get back there tomorrow and ask for the 29542833?
