Parker Racor filter

Just replaced my fuel filter. Bought a package kit that included a parker racor fuel filter. The O-Ring For the filter did not want to fit at all. almost like it was to big kept popping out. I ended up pulling the old one out of the ac delco filter and putting it in all is well now just wondering if this is a common thing or what.

I had it do the same thing with me. I just put a dap of grease around the oring to make it stay.

Yes, very common. Be careful using the old ones, they could cause some headaches down the road. It is like that with the delco filters as well so its not because it was an aftermarket filter.

I had two with the same problem i just used the old o ring.

The Parker filter and AC filter is the same filters just different lables on them.

Parker makes the AC filters. I buy the racor by the case price is alot cheaper
