PB Blaster works... got almost all of the up pipe bolts broken loose just the top 2 bottom bolts left. Should have it all off tomorrow afternoon... then all i have to do is wait for the S475:D

it sounds like a weak excuse but having never really wrenched on my truck prior to that turbo swap back in May it was pretty overwhelming... I didn't do a whole lot on that one. :eek: This one is going to get done all by my lonesome :thumb: The CP3 was a slow process that is for sure... but it is on :D hows that gimpy transmission of yours LOL

how in the hell are you guys getting the 3 pedestal bolts out that secure the turbo in the valley?

I use a shallow socket on a wobbly extension and a ratchet, all 1/2" drive stuff. I believe the bolts are 17mm.

hey if an idiot like me can strip mine to bare block an put it back together an IT RUN, I'm sure that you are more than qualified to do a simply little ol turbo swap, :)

18mm;):D thats all that is left are the 3 bolts... long story short a freaking nightmare, this time around im gonna use all studs and nuts to mount the turbo cause it would be a lot easier if i got the turbo out of the way but what are you gonna do?
