PB Blaster works... got almost all of the up pipe bolts broken loose just the top 2 bottom bolts left. Should have it all off tomorrow afternoon... then all i have to do is wait for the S475

it wasn't too bad... took me about 1.5hrs to get that far. The 4094 looks so little LOL

it sounds like a weak excuse but having never really wrenched on my truck prior to that turbo swap back in May it was pretty overwhelming... I didn't do a whole lot on that one. This one is going to get done all by my lonesome :thumb: The CP3 was a slow process that is for sure... but it is on hows that gimpy transmission of yours LOL

how in the hell are you guys getting the 3 pedestal bolts out that secure the turbo in the valley?

PB oil + 1/2" impact gun. are they too tight or you need swivels

i always use a ratchet, deep socket and a swivel.

I use a shallow socket on a wobbly extension and a ratchet, all 1/2" drive stuff. I believe the bolts are 17mm.

18mm thats all that is left are the 3 bolts... long story short a freaking nightmare, this time around im gonna use all studs and nuts to mount the turbo cause it would be a lot easier if i got the turbo out of the way but what are you gonna do? I need my ASE Certified Master Technician Chris "C Stack" Beanes
