Question: Paint Colors

I have a 2003 GMC 2500HD in the metallic blue that needs a new bed. I found a bed off a 2004 Chevrolet 2500 gasser in what appears to be the same blue. My question: ARE those the same blue?

see if you can match the paint codes. Located on a sticker in the glovebox. Your truck also has been in the sun for a year longer, might be a hair more faded.

I'll give them a call and see if they can find the paint code. The truck is at a salvage yard, so they may have sold the glove box by now :spit:

For future searchers, it was the same paint code. I now have that bed, and it is a perfect color match.

sounds like arrival blue. you're pretty lucky, they only made them in 03 and 04

Yep, good old Code 91U -- Arrival Blue (or for a GMC, Marine Blue) 2003-2004 only.

IMO, with Carbon Metallic (also 03-04), two of the best GM paint colors ever.
