Well if this isn't a pain in the ass I don't know what is!! lol Gonna try to hook an atv to a bolt welded onto the stubshaft and jerk it out. Just thought this was worthy of uploading, since it wasn't a month ago I had to remove it. Before I atleast had a flange to hit lol

4wheeler was gonna jerk it off the jackstands before popping out. So out shes coming, once again. We pulled the centerlink last time just for the heck of it. But since I'm doing this at the house instead of at a shop on a lift I'm looking for short cuts. Anyone think with a straight centerlink I can remove the diff, or is it a neccesity to come out also? Found a yukon replacement stub for alot cheaper than the OEM one from Randys ring and pinion.

Drivers side. I just used a 5lbs hammer on it with a piece of tube welded on the part of the shaft that is still sticking out. Slide bar hammer won't touch this thing. I shouldn't have installed the clip on the last rebuild. The clip is circular and the spline recess is cut square, its a stupid design. There won't be any clip put on it this time! Gonna have to pull the diff out. Split the case. Cut the rest of the shaft off. Pull the carrier out with the shaft still in it, pull the cross pin, beat the shaft out from the inside and rebuild it.

Put a 4 inch lift on it then you can pull torsion bars, lower arms, and whole sub frame to pull front diff :D I've only done it about 6 times on mine. But you won't have to pull the center link:roflmao:
