Not sure what section to post this in.

I posted this on the Diesel Place and did not get much response so I thought that i would try here.

My 2006 LBZ got check engine light. Pulled P0106 and P2228 codes. Cleared both and the P2228 came back. The check engine light comes and goes. Going to try replacing the Barometric Sensor and check wiring after that according to what I have read the next thing may be the ECU.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Anyone know where I can get a used ECU as I hate having to pay dealer price.

Any help would be appreciated.

Tech 2 should be able to check and start it if it's not fried or someone jacked it up. A code reader might clear the codes if it's top shelf unit I've heard. Lots of smart advice on here in other columns with PCM, TCM, ECM and diffs. I don't know it all but try to remember I can look here if my truck won't start at least it has a quick relearn sticky in here to help get off the road.

The truck runs. The check engine light is now intermitent. It runs goods when the light is gone. Otherwise it stutters some. My code reader will clear the code and read it. My son has the truck, but when I get it back if we haven't figured it out by then I will put the stock program back in to see if it makes a difference.
