Alright I've been battling this for awhile its been intermittent without a rhyme or reason, I been able to do it a on a few tunes, none with any real significant amounts of fuel, I've been on the stock tune for a week hoping I could throw it again but I cant. The tune I was having problems with was a stock tune minus EGR, 5% veins at idle and 15% increase in pulse width, pretty conservative, and I could beat this truck left and right and no 1093 somedays, but then whenever I wouldnt be trying, just say driving casually to work I'd trip it all the time.

I've got a new fuel filter, didnt do anything to solve the problem.
What pulse width should my stock LLY be able to hold without a lift pump? Like I said these 1093 arent coming on under hard accelration. I dont wanna do shims yet, because its holding commanded rail pressure all the way from 0 to 80 mph no problems. What should my next tests be?

Kat you are a genious, your the first person to tell me that and Im just glad I didnt invetigate the 20 other ideas people gave me, after just 1 0-90 mph run the bottle was about 1/3 full, I knew I had to shim it, I jsut thought that I had another problem because I didnt think I was running enough fuel to pop the FPRV, thanks again, now my only regret was not figuring this out earlier so I could order from PPE and shim the dang thing over Easter weekend.

Hopefully the fitting comes out of the back of the rail easy. Need to remove the glow plug controller first I think, there is a couple nuts/bolts on the GP controller bracket that are a pain to get off.

My tip for the rail PSV is to use a 0° wrench. I think its an 18mm. And if you can't break it lose by pulling on it. Get someone to help you. One person holds the wrench on the fitting really good and also supports a 2X4 up against the wrench and one other person stands on the passenger side of the truck and whacks the 2X4 with a small sledge.

Whatever you do, just don't strip it because then you'll have a big job on your hands removing the fuel rail.

I got it, I was ready for a real battle hooked 2 wrenches together was ready to give it all I had I almost flew backwards, with almost no effort at all it came right out. I have no idea how anyone is supposed to get the glow plug controller bracket out, without taking the turbo off. So I took the turbo off...

Lol, j/k did it with the bracket it place, but it sure is tight in there. I fixed my 1093 problems though, thanks all

That GP controller is a huge eff around. When I was putting it back in the first time I took it out I cut it up a bit so access to the fasteners would be easier.

It was still tough this time around to get it off haha.

I dunno how you did it in place haha, good work though.
