I did my exhaust and egr delete and downloaded my ridgerunner tune. Truck didnt want to start like it was a dead battery, i put charger in abit and it showed 90% truck started once and after a few seconds shut off. When i try to start if clicks like the battery is dead but it isnt dead any ideas? Only code i am showing is some TCM power code

P0880 2015 lml

I had my truck in the driveway for about 2 weeks. Did egr and dpf delete and downloaded tune from a reputable tuner. Now truck won't start and i keep showing P0880 code. Google says its a serious code. Any ideas? Or know where i can check all the fuses at least. Would that. Ode cause no start? I got it to start ine for about 5 seconds and now either just cranks or won't crank and just clicks like a dead battery sound

Idk i am stumped i downloaded the tune from laptop and truck just clicks loke its a dead battery but both batteries are showing 80%. And seems i keep getting a P0880 code which i am not sure it was there before this project but i would assume if it was truck would uave acted wierd. Not sure if that p0880 is part of the problem. I would think truck would at least start

What's the voltage on the battery when you try and crank?

Have you disconnected and reconnected the batteries yet?

Yes i have disconnected them to charge one was at 80% and other 90% both charged in a few min. Its not the batteries it just makes the sound like batteries are dead. I had them disconnected the past 2 weeks while i was working on this project. I was able to pass thru load the tune today and same crap. Frustratung, removal of everything was a pia but install went super smooth and first time in history i got tunes to load first shot. I knew it went too smooth to work out good.

P0880 means your tcm has or has had a power loss. Somewhere in your job you managed to do something to a wire or connector in the power supply for the tcm. You need to go back over every connection and go through the wiring. Something you may have hit with a sawzall, or with a pipe or possibly unplugged and not plugged back in.

I will double check everything. Downpipe and up pipe were a pia to remove not sure if anything runs down there. Would this cause a no start and no crank condition though?

Yes i have disconnected them to charge one was at 80% and other 90% both charged in a few min.

That should be a red flag right there. For one, both should be at the same charge state unless one is failing and taking the other out with it. Second, for them to charge from 80/90% in only a few minutes shows their capacity is very low unless you where dumping like a 100 amps into them, which would be hard on the batteries at 90% SOC. Was this just the charger telling you the state of charge or did you use a battery tester?

I think you should just take the batteries to an auto store and have them checked just to rule them out

Also, if you measure the voltage on the batteries while it has a load on them will give you some idea of the health. I think you should still measure the voltage when you try and start it.

If you jump out the starter will it crank?

I will try and check the batteries but i highly doubt they went bad sitting 2 weeks disconnected. When i said a few min that was more like 30 i exatterated. Both are unhooked and fully charged now so i will check voltage with my multimeter

you should probably start by getting a pinout diagram at a minimum and verifying voltage and any shorts on that circuit. Also, I agree that making all these threads stemming from the same work is very confusing.

Watch voltage when you crank too on the multimeter

Idk i was told on efilive forums you cannot mess with the vats in an lml. I thought that too. I will be ho.e soon so i will check batteries, wiring and see if it cranks
