Threw a 0842 code last night. Didn't turn the CEL on, but i scanned it anyway. The 3>4 shift will not happen until i let off, every other gear is fine. It goes out of 3rd and revs until i let out then shifts to 4th. Looking through threads looks like the PSM? Fuel filter, spin on, internal filter and fluid has all been changed.

Oh shit Mike, threw a 0776 code tonight ! Dropped pan, no clutch material, fluid a little dark though. Checked PSM, o-rings are in place, replaced with new one though. No longer just a spin on fix.

It goes 1 2 3, i have to let off to hit 4th and then 5th is fine. Still luckily have 4 and 5 though! Is this a burned clutch pack?

Oh dear... I hate to say it, but that sounds VERY familiar with the "same" trans... You're right, no longer just a spin-on fix. Time for a rebuild :(

Time to contact your trans builder. This does not sound good. Looks like we have bad C2 clutches and problems in the C1/C2 drum.
