this was a hole worn in the top of the transfer case at the reluctor wheel...no toasted clutches. fwiw:thumb:
this thing is still beating the rear bushing out of the t-fer case...drivshaft balanced twice and still doing it. any clues. did fine for 2100 miles and started again

That is unheard of with a good yoke and good ujoints. Now if the original bushing was pushed out; your housing is toast. Pushed out bushings indicate a loose extension housing and new bushings will move around and come back out.
i put a new gm housing bushing and everything with the driveshaft balance. i guess ill di deeper into the case or rearend i dont know.
