P0717 no signal to sensor help please

06 lbz set two codes p0700 p0717 the trans will enter limp mode and stay in 1st or 4th! Speedo jumps to 10 mph while in park at idle, trans pops as if trying to engage while in park at idle! I clear the dtc restart put it into drive and drives perfect, until i shut it off and restart, or leave it in park at idle for a few minutes!
Any help would be greatly appericated!

Turbine speed sensor problem. That's the sensor on top of the Allison case. Check wires for rub through.

I replaced the sensor to start with, still same symptoms, i have no looked for obvious wire damage with no luck! Could it be a tcm error?

I also unplugged the sensor used a paper clip to join the red&blue wires checked continuity it was good, plugged the sensor back in then stuck it to metal it did not show continuity either way, so im assuming both the new and old sensors are bad unless im not checking them appropriately

Not sure of colors but are the red and blue wires from the TCM (red connector) pins 13 and 14? These are the third and fourth pins, top row of connector and are for the turbine speed sensor. Extremely doubtful if two speed sensors gone bad, must be in the harness......

I dont recall the pin location, i removed the input sensor wires from the harness to inspect them and found nothing wrong anywhere, im stumped. Should i have GM re flash the tcm?
