Hey guys. New to the forum. The truck threw the code p0299 which I understand is turbo under boost. What could the cause be and how do I take care of it? I bought it tuned with EFI live. Unfortunately I do not know who tuned this truck so I am out of luck as far as that goes. I read that im probably going to need to log in and adjust the under boost limit table to 15psi? If that's the case I am screwed cause who ever tuned it is the only person with access. What is my last resort if it comes to it?

To my knowledge you would have to get your ecm reflashed to stock at the dealer if it is locked.

I have never ran into that on my lbz. I believe it can be caused by a boost leak. The link I attached above should give you a pretty good idea on the reasons the code is thrown. If it's not a boost leak or something of that nature you'll prob have to get a efi tuner to adjust the tables so the code isn't thrown. Not 100% on cost roughly $100
From doing some reading ^ he is right. The ECM is locked to the tuners key. If you want a retune you'll have to figure out who tuned the truck or get a new ECM (IF the ECM is locked.) My knowledge is far from many guys on this site hopefully one of them will chime in and give u better direction.
Thanks guys. I guess ill see if I can figure out who tuned it. I read that attached link you sent me and I read through that whole thread. I seen some guys say their problem occurs when the truck kicks in elevated idle. My code was thrown while in elevated idle mode also. I also see they say you don't want to plug the heater in unless its colder then 0 degree Fahrenheit. My truck was plugged in that day and it was 15 degrees out. I guess its what you get when you buy someone else's tuned and used truck. It was someone's tow rig. Rails for a plate and air bags. Only 138k though. I would be curious how many owners.
