I have been working on a 2008 Lmm today I installed a DPF and EGR delete tune that I made it's a stock tune with the DPF an EGR disabled.why am I just getting the P 0101 after the tune? It does have a K&N filter butwhy did it just kick on when I installed this tune? Was there a table I possibly missed when disabling egr/dpf?

P0101 can happen for ALOT of reasons, and sometimes it just happens for spite. The P0102 has been my nemesis for BOSCH ECM tuning. As for a delete, there is alot more to it than just disabling the EGR and DPF. You still have to shut off the codes, and theres a few other tables I found should also be changed.

mine was fine for years and then I put in a new airfilter (same Donaldson that I'd been running) and was plagued with p0101 at idle only. It was flowing ever-so-sightly more than the ECM wanted to see. I changed the tune to raise the min rpm for testing to 1000 and it went away.

Its an egr related code your probably seeing. Go to dpf tab change to no and 0. Then go to egr and disable. Then go through your DTC list and everything you see relating to dpf, particulate filter, egr related, egt sensor related etc shut off

P0101 is measured airflow is outside of desired airflow by more than what the ECM wants to see. I got it on my LB7 with just an AFE stage 1 intake.

Yeah, and iv seen sticky egr valves cause MAF codes along with poorly installed air filters. Thats why i said probably from messing with the egr. Hell, even blowing an intercooler tube can cause mac and egr codes on stock trucks.

just a word of caution, at least on the LMM don't shut off the EGR. Just change the parameters but don't click that Disable button.

This is a well known problem with the LMM.
Yep, I was warned to never disable it as well. LBZ's your fine(I still don't), but LMM's can get flaky with it disabled. Also I disable it via the temp limiters so that teh ECM won't command it to open, but if it does it won't freak out.

Ok, so i turned it off using the tables and leaving it to "enable"

Its not throwing codes or anything, the only thing I dont like is its putting out a good puff of black smoke at a full throttle take off.. Any Suggestions?(Its a stock tune with EGR/DPF disable)
