Currently going down the highway, rail pressure is low enough that I can't maintain 55mph. At 50 mph rail pressure is 3kpsi. Bad fuel filter? Gelled fuel? It's -12 right now
Im hoping that's the case. Stopped halfway home and poured a good amount of the power service diesel 911 additive in the tank to see if that would help at all. Any way to combat this? It's gonna be this cold for a few days and I'm planning on taking the truck up north this weekend. Also, will replacing fuel filter help?
Changed the filter today, fuel that came out was a little thicker than normal. With the new filter it runs fine, I'm still seeing a loss of rail pressure at higher rpms in the higher gears, but I'd say that's because I don't have a lift pump
